This weekend Dave was complaining about “ageism” in the tech world. On the one hand, Dave, and the TechCrunch article he references are correct. The tech world is rife with “-isms.” That’s the unfortunate ground state of a collective binary-thinking shut-ins. On the other hand:
Facing facts, I’ve been sidelined in tech for quite a number of years. No one offers me a place in new startups. When I was younger things were a lot different.
That couldn’t have anything to do with the fact that Dave is generally annoying, arrogant and consistently displays a shocking lack of comprehension of any concept that doesn’t revolve around XML and outliners. Nope, couldn’t be that.
